Theberton and Eastbridge Community Projects 2026

Theberton and Eastbridge Parish Council has been in discussion with the Sizewell C Community Fund about applying for funding to support new community projects in the parish.

The Community Fund aims to help reduce the impact of the construction of the Sizewell C nuclear power station while creating a positive, lasting legacy for the communities most affected. You can find more information here: https://www.suffolkcf.org.uk/sizewell-c/

To ensure any application truly reflects the wishes of local residents, we would love to hear your ideas for projects, activities, or facilities that could benefit our villages. At this stage, ideas do not need to be fully formed — even early thoughts are very welcome.

Priority will be given to projects that:
- Benefit communities closest to the development and activity sites
- Help reduce the longer-term impacts of Sizewell C construction
- Have clear support from the wider community
- Create a positive and sustainable legacy
- Bring people together and strengthen community life

Members of the Parish Council would be very happy to help develop ideas further with you, or even take them forward on your behalf.

Even if you don’t have a specific project in mind, we would still really value your input. Answering a few general questions will help us understand what may be missing locally and where investment could make the biggest difference.

You can complete the form which will be in your April Newseltter and post in the box located in Theberton & Eastbridge Village Hall (by the book shelves)

OR

Online by using this link.

Please complete the survey by 1st May 2026.

Together we can make the most of this opportunity and shape projects that will benefit our community for years to come.
